The so-called rigidity means to be resistant to impact, scratches, and drops, as solid as a rock, and able to provide better protection for the display subject while ensuring clear images; And the so-called softness means that it should be foldable, rollable, easy to store, as tough as reeds, and can be easily retracted.
The four major series of products of Chiyan CHUM, among which C and U are the most rigid and flexible representatives respectively. It is understood that the Chiyan C series is a transparent microcrystalline glass product formed through a unique material design and special controlled crystallization treatment. At the microscopic level, it can be seen that the glass phase and microcrystalline phase are tightly combined to form an interlocking sheet-like structure, like a dense mesh, greatly improving the mechanical properties of the glass. At the same time, the uniform distribution of nanoscale crystals ensures high transmittance of the product. It is reported that the Vickers hardness of Chiyan C1 is greater than 700 kgf/mm2, the transmittance is greater than 91%, and the anti drop height can reach more than 1.5 meters. This product also won the Silver Award for Display Material Innovation at this exhibition.

Chiyan U series, also known as UTG ultra-thin flexible cover glass, refers to glass products with a thickness of less than 0.1mm that exhibit flexible and rollable characteristics. The Chiyan U series can be as thin as 0.03mm, which is about 1/4 the thickness of A4 paper. Although it is light and thin, it is very tough and has excellent mechanical properties such as scratch resistance and bending resistance. The bending times can reach more than 300000 times.
